4th Strategic Economic Talks: SEE the Future

The 4th Strategic Economic Talks, hosted by TPA Group and SEEBDN - Southeast Europe Business Development Network, kicked off with a cocktail reception at Kempinski Hotel Adriatic, Istria, Croatia. This event, in collaboration with MK Group, Allianz Partners, Kornfeld Industrie, Aon and Atradius, featured stunning sea views and a delightful dinner with live music, setting the perfect tone for the business networking event.

The second day began with welcome addresses from Aleksandar Gros, Thomas Haneder and Fritz Kaltenegger. Highlights included a discussion on "Digital Access in the Healthcare Sector" by Dominic Gantner, a panel on the greening of agriculture in the EU, and an interview on mobility trends with Dieter Althaus. Additionally, there were two exciting presentations: "Unlocking the Human Factor: Decoding Employee Motivation in the SEE Region" by Martina Sokač Saraga and "SEE Renewables 2.0: Opportunities and Challenges" by Ivelina Lambova.

Lucanus Polagnoli and Clemens Mayr-Harting led a fireside chat on Europe's digital health revolution by 2030, followed by an in-depth analysis of the SEE economy by Gerhard Kornfeld, Franz Maier, and Harald Luchs, moderated by Hrvoje Kresic. Esteemed panelists included Aleksandar Gerbec, Kalina Trifonova, and Maximilian Mauthe, who discussed the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition.

The event concluded with a dinner featuring two panels: "EUROPE Today and Tomorrow," with Sandra Bencic, Domagoj Milosevic, and Martin Engelberg, and "Industry: The New Reality with Inflation, Volatility, Technological Disruption," exploring the outlook for the SEE economy and its DACH region partners, with Nusa Pavlinjek, Kruno Obrovac, Katerina Zenz, and Sascha Smets.
